Our Philosophy on Education

Keeping in mind each child’s uniqueness, we believe that learning is achieved through the combined effort and interaction of faculty, parents and students. While acknowledging the parent/guardian as primary educator, we believe that parents are partners in the educational process of their children and that students cannot develop to their fullest potential without cooperation from the home. We believe that parents and faculty alike have the responsibility to be Christian role models for the students.

Our Extended Day program is a safe and pleasant environment for your child, supervised by existing St. Cornelius staff and parent volunteers. It provides students with social and educational activities (click to see more), and is available to all school families. Homework helpers are available with the appropriate supervision. If using this program after school please provide your child with an afternoon snack. Daily rates and hours of operation are:

Our Mission

St. Cornelius Elementary Parish School is devoted to and strives for quality Catholic education where the primary purpose is to instill in each child a knowledge and love of God. We strive to educate students spiritually, intellectually, affectively, emotionally, physically and socially.
